The Center’s physicians are also becoming more involved in community-based asthma prevention and treatment programs, expanding their pediatric lung transplant support services and investigating off-site options for long term supportive care for severely disabled patients. All of these activities are indications of a sea change at the Center that stand to benefit patients nationwide.
